Artist's Comments

For my 2D Design class last quarter. The assignment was to illustrate a transformational sequence; I chose to show Chinese characters becoming their meanings. It was a lot of fun to mix traditional and digital work on this piece.

Characters:

艸 (cao3) Grass
山 (shan1) Mountain
木 (mu4) Tree
鳥 (diao3) Bird
云 (yun2) Cloud

Please ignore the mix of traditional/simplified characters. They were chosen for aesthetic value more than anything.

Thank you very much! It's great to get this kind of feedback, especially from someone whose work I enjoy so much. And an extra tip of the hat for your :+fav:!
